Who We Are
Acre Community Network CIO is a community-driven charity based in Rochdale, created to support vulnerable people who may be experiencing loneliness, hardship, or social isolation. Rooted in compassion and practical help, we bring people together, strengthen connections, and provide essential items and support to those who need it most.
The charity was founded by trustees Gill Nelson, James Guy, and Ben Broughton, who together share a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families across Rochdale and the surrounding Calderdale borders. Their combined experience in social care, community work, and local support services shapes everything the charity delivers.
